We are making our dining reservations on Tuesday and would like some feedback on these places. Let me know your opinions. Are there any that are “bad” choices? Your thoughts and experiences please.

PS - please only comment if you have actually been to that establishment before. Thanks.

A lot depends on the ages of people in your party?

For breakfast, we like Tusker House, BOG (food is pricey, but on free dining, then go for it; otherwise go for lunch), and CP.

For lunch, we like Tokyo Dining, and SciFi. Both are also good for dinner.

For dinner, we like Y&Y, MM, Cindy's RT, and Storybook Dining.

Be our Guest breakfast only if using a qs credit, otherwise its way over priced. Breakfast is my favorite meal at Crystal Palace. Tusker House is good all day, Hollywood and Vine is just "meh". Love Sci Fi and wouldn't miss it. Food is surprisingly good and atmosphere is unbeatable. Rainforest cafe has passable food if you stick to the sandwiches, burgers, etc. but kids love it. Yes to Yak and Yeti, Mama Melrose and Akershus. CRT only if you're dining with a princess crazy little one. Way over priced for what it is.

Of those listed, Mama Melrose is a restaurant I would not want to repeat. Our party did not care for the food or atmosphere at all. We greatly enjoyed Tusker House, Akershus, and Royal Table.

Breakfast:
Tusker House
Be Our Guest- we like it, but find it's a little pricey for what you get (even though we usually split a meal or order kid's meals). Useful as a PPO if you're trying to get to Fantasyland a little ahead of the RD crowd. It's not a quiet, relaxing breakfast and that takes people by surprise sometimes. You seat yourself and get your own beverages, utensils, condiments etc.
Kona Cafe- we LOVE Kona for breakfast. It's the one thing DH always requests, every trip.
Hollywood and Vine
Crystal Palace- have not been in a very long time, but we liked the food and character interactions
Grand Floridian

Lunch:
Rainforest Cafe- it's nothing special, we don't hate it but I find you're really paying for the atmosphere
Tony’s x 2
Tokyo Dining
SciFi Cafe- we love it here, great burgers and shakes. Never a complaint from my kiddos. Service has been consistently good, and it's reasonably priced in comparison to other TS restaurants.
The Plaza

Dinner:
Yak and Yeti
Crystal Palace
Akershus Banquet
Mama Melrose
Royal Table- it's expensive for what it is, but then again it's Cinderella's castle and sometimes you can't put a pricetag on that (unless you're me). No complaints about food or service, my family is just priced out of it now that we have 2 "Disney adults"
Storybook Dining

Breakfast:
Tusker House - LOVE Tusker House!! Tentatively have it planned for my birthday breakfast!
Be Our Guest
Kona Cafe - While I liked the food, I did not have the best experience in September. My server was clearly put out that she had a solo table - she was perfectly friendly and chatty with her multi-person tables, but it was just barely checking on me. At first I thought it was just being in the first wave seated, but I really think it was that I was solo. (The only time any CM at a restaurant has made me feel less-than for being solo.
Hollywood and Vine
Crystal Palace - Lots of fun and good food!
Grand Floridian

Comments on the places I've been for breakfast in pink in the quote. I've not been to any of the others. (Well, Rainforest, but not at Disney.)

Breakfast:
Tusker House - We love it.
Be Our Guest - Have only been for dinner but heard the breakfast there is not great and if you want a much better experience where you can see the beast I would do dinner instead.
Kona Cafe - A lot of people love it but we find it just ok. I would do Whispering Canyon at WL or Trail’s End at FW instead if you need to eat in that area. Another recommendation is Cape May character breakfast at the BC or Boma at AKL.
Hollywood and Vine
Crystal Palace- We love it.
Grand Floridian

Lunch:
Rainforest Cafe - We love it.
Tony’s x 2 - We love it but would switch one of those to Liberty Tree Tavern.
Tokyo Dining
SciFi Cafe - Have only found it ok. We love 50’s PTC.
The Plaza

Dinner:
Yak and Yeti
Crystal Palace
Akershus Banquet
Mama Melrose
Royal Table
Storybook Dining

We didn't mind BOG for breakfast at all! We thought it was good. We had the open faced egg sandwich. Kona used to be our MUST every trip. Sometimes 3 times. The Tonga Toast is delicious. My favorite dish was the Samoan. I would dream about it. They have changed it. I haven't had the most current one. The Loco Moco was good. Ask for extra gravy. Yak & Yeti is fabulous. Ahi tuna nachos!! So delicious

Rainforest Cafe is okay, if you don't have one you can go to locally
I wouldn't recommend "wasting" Disney time on it personally though

Hollywood and Vine is notorious for being awful food-wise (but it's a character meal so people settle)
Unless something has changed drastically, I don't recommend that personally

Breakfast:
Be Our Guest - love love love. As said above it’s expensive if you aren’t using the dining plan. The castle is so gorgeous inside. Make sure you preorder on the Disney website (You can do it starting 30 days in advance). It saves a lot of time.
Hollywood and Vine - I have not been but just wanted to make sure you know it’s the Disney jr characters there at breakfast. Minnie and friends are lunch and dinner. Not sure if you have Disney jr age kids.
Crystal Palace - like the breakfast

Lunch:
Rainforest Cafe - fun atmosphere food nothing special
SciFi Cafe - again fun atmosphere food nothing special

Dinner:
Crystal Palace - wasn’t impressed with the dinner I’d stick with just the breakfast
Akershus Banquet - good if their menu appeals to everyone in the party
Mama Melrose - haven’t been in a while because last time I was there it was horrible and swore never to return
Royal Table - expensive but really cool to eat in the castle esp with little girls
Storybook Dining - amazing, 100% worth it

I always have a hard time finding good TS restaurants in DHS. We are going to try Sci-Fi this year. Hollywood Brown was ok, but not worth the money spent. If they offer EMM during our stay, we plan to use that for our breakfast option.

That was one I was concerned about.
We are Italian and like MM, but dont order the pasta dishes. To be fair, we don't order pasta in any restaurant, good red sauce is so subjective to Italians. Everything else we've had there. steak, fish, apps, desserts, have been really good.

Breakfast:
Tusker House have not done breakfast but would say consider lunch or make a late ADR so you can try both
Be Our Guest - only if on dining plan
Kona Cafe - love the pineapple macadamia nut pancakes!!!
Hollywood and Vine
Crystal Palace - good food and characters
Grand Floridian love this place also

Lunch:
Rainforest Cafe
Tony’s x 2 - would not go here twice. Try Liberty tree tavern or BOG
Tokyo Dining
SciFi Cafe fun place to go - great burger! dark inside because of movies
The Plaza - good food and a nice place to sit

Dinner:
Yak and Yeti - good food - get the firecracker shrimp
Crystal Palace
Akershus Banquet
Mama Melrose
Royal Table
Storybook Dining really fun and good food. Evil queen was awesome!
