Any suggestions regarding changing rooms at same resort?

Hi Everyone,

Here's my situation. I currently have a 1-bedroom villa garden view at BV for the last week in Feb, starting 2/24 (right after press week).

I am trying to get a Boardwalk view and I am on the wait list for it.

I just noticed via online reservations (it's about time!) that there a 3 days available starting with our second nite with that view. If I took it, my stay would look like this:

1st nite: garden view
2-4th nites: boardwalk view
5-8th nites: garden view

My questions are: Would it be a hassle to change rooms twice? As much as I really would like to get a Boardwalk view, is it worth the hassle?

If I did take the boardwalk view for those 3 nites, do you think there would be a decent chance of getting that 1st nite as a boardwalk view (since it's only 1 nite versus many, I'm guessing I would have a better chance of someone canceling).

I wouldn't mind changing rooms once (in the middle of our stay) if I can get that first nite as a boardwalk view as well, but changing twice seems like it might be a hassle.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

The switching would be too much of a hassle to me.

But it is a personal preference, what does it mean to you to pack up bags, tip bell services again and possibly be without a room from 11:00am to 6pm? (Check-in is supposed to be 4 but we know how that goes...)

I might consider taking the 3 days, and w/l the 1st with the intention of switching back to garden view at 30 days if the w/l does not come through.

Some people like the 1st day deal to use DDXP and get 3 TS credits to use by midnight of the 2nd day..
