Hi,

I have no idea about Universal or Island of Adventure (not even sure what the difference is with them) but I am hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can give me some suggestions. I have three daughters (6,4,1), and we have decided to do 2 days in MK, 1 in Universal, and 1 in Aquatica. Just wondering about which things are going to be age appropriate and fun for the girls. ANY suggestions would be so helpful. Thanks so much!

Melissa

At IOA they would enjoy....

Everything in Seuss Landing and probably Camp Jurassic. They could spend hours in both areas.

At the Studios they would enjoy....

E.T. and the Woody Woodpecker Kids Zone which includes Barney and the Curious George play areas.

I second the kids play areas. They are so much better than what WDW has to offer for playing. My godsons prefer US because of this. The velociraptor water cannons alone keep them busy for the better part of an hour. Plan on bathing suits, because they will be WET!

At Islands of Adventure there is Seuss Landing with The Cat in the Hat, The carro seussel, High in the sky Trolley Train Ride, and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. The six year old may enjoy Spiderman and Storm Force Accelatron. Storm Force is kind of like the teacups. Theres are also two play areas. One is in Jurassic Park called Camp Jurassic and there is also one in Toon Lagoon called Me, Ship the Olive. This one is wetter.

At Universal Studios the six year old will probably enjoy Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast, Shrek 4D, The Simpsons Ride, ET and Men in Black. All of them will enjoy kidzone with ET, The Barney Show, The Animal Actors On Location show and Woody Woodpecker Nuthouse coaster. There are also play areas in KidZone called Curious George Goes to Town and some other that I don't remember the name.

The four year old might also enjoy Jimmy Neutron and Shrek. There are stationary seating at both rides just in case you want them to see the show but not experience the movement.

we were there last May, and we took our 9mth old and 4 year old to all the orlando parks - and easily their favourite area/park was Seuss' Landing at IOA -They could have spent DAYS there!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

The only thing we were disappointed about with UO (and this might change depending on when you are there I guess:confused3) was that a lot of Universal studios didn't open until later in the morning. I remember us sitting at a cafe outside Earthquake eating danish pastries waiting for things suitable for the little ones to open - this might be something to consider especially if you only have one day - but Seuss' Landing was open early (in fact my DS4 was soaked in the water playground by quarter past nine!!:lmao:) - they LOVED IOA!!!:yay::yay:

Kidzone has been opening at 11:00 AM for many months now and it is not expected to change. I will just head out to IOA first and then go to USF later. Or enjoy other rides in the mean time.
