Hi all,
I think we finally decided on a Cat 7 room. (Only took a month).
Now I heard the aft in the area to be in.
But I would love to hear from former Cat 7 travellers and reveiws or opions about specfic rooms?
Thanks

All the cat. 7 are aft. We had 6642 and liked it. However it is an adjoiner which might bother some people but we had no noise problems at all.

Our last 3 of 4 cruises were in catagory 7 cabins on Deck 7. We have been extremely happy, so close to the "secret deck 7 area" as well as just walk up 2 flights of stairs and you are at the coffee station! We will be in the same stateroom for #5 next year!

we sailed on the Wonder 2 1/2 years ago in room 7426 (I believe) in Cat 7. Over Memorial Day we sailed on the Magic room 7122 on the other side also Cat 7. Both were very good. If you're going to choose the room, I think you want to check the itinerary and what side the ship will dock and which will be facing out towards the water. The 7122 side is on the dockside at Castaway Cay and Cozumel. The 7426 would be dockside at Key West and Port Canaveral. The only other issue is really if you want to be on deck 7 - the upper level for the Cat 7's or lower. They are all bunched together in the same area in the back of the ship.

I'm glad 7122 on the Magic is a good room, we'll be in that room 8/23. Thanks for letting me know! Anything else about that particular room/location that you can share?

There are 4 "reclassified" Cat 7 staterooms that are full verandahs that have a very slightly obstructed view. The "old" Cat 5 rooms are 7120 and 7620 and the Cat 6 rooms are 6134 and 6634. I've seen the view from inside of 6134 and it is great! This is like getting a free upgrade. You can see pictures from the outside of the ship on Dave from Marietta's site here

Hope that helps and have a great cruise!!

hi lisa. it is a nice room - say hi to it for us. we celebrated our 10th anniversary during the Memorial Day cruise.

the only drawback of the room (and I don't think it was specific to that room in particular), is that around day 5 you will begin to notice a good stench eminating from the forward bath (the one with the toilet). we had to keep the door closed the remainder of the cruise because it got pretty nasty. I think it probably has to do with some of the holding tanks filling. It may be a good idea (for anyone in general) to bring along one of those solid air fresheners to keep in there.

We have never had the odor problem but have heard from others who have. I have heard that if you pour a cup or two of water down the drain that it helps. If not please don't hesitate to let housekeeping know. They can't fix it if they don't know about (and yes I know your steward should know about it, but maybe they are new).
