Any suggestions for an anniversary trip...

We are trying to choose a place to spend our 15th wedding anniversary for a week in June. Trying not to break the bank and it needs to be within about an 8 hour drive. We had booked a trip to Disney without the kids but we don't really want to spend that kind of $$$ and we want a destination that is somewhat relaxing. Any suggestions? TIA

I don't know if it's further than 8 hours but maybe Key Largo?

It sort of depends if you are beach people or not.

What about Hilton Head Island or Savannah Ga You could split your time between the beach and a B&B in Savannah.

My other suggestion would be the Finger Lakes in NY. The area is great for relaxation. But I think it would be over an 8 hr drive.

Maybe a houseboat rental on Lake Cumberland in KY.

You could go to the Smokey Mountain and Gatlinburg area and also visit Asheville, NC. I went on a trip a few years ago and it was gorgeous! Also, the Smokey Mountain park is completely free to visit. It turned out to be a very low cost trip.
