I am traveling to WDW in February with my family (me, DH, 2 daughters - 7 and 3) and my friend's family (friend, her DH, 2 sons - 5, 1) for Princess Half Marathon weekend. We plotted out our ideal reservations list - any changes or recommendations for us??

Arrival Day (Friday Feb 23): Chef Mickey's for dinner -not sure what time to book?

We land at MCO around noon and will use Magical Express. We are staying at Contemporary but need to get to the Expo for packet pick up (don't necessarily need a ton of time there) and back to hotel before dinner- thoughts on time?

Saturday Feb 24:
  • Breakfast at hotel either in room or quick grab at Contempo Cafe
  • Lunch at Tusker House (likely 11:30ish)
  • Dinner - play by ear - if back to hotel, we are thinking the Wave - can we get in without reservations?

Sunday Feb 25: AM - running the half marathon
  • Lunch at Biergarten.
  • Ice Cream at Artisan des Glaces.
  • Dinner wherever we are - Quick Service.

Monday Feb 26: Breakfast at Be Our Guest (if we can get it!). Rest of day at QS for flexibility in schedule.

Tuesday Feb 27: Breakfast at Bon Voyage before off to airport

Appreciate any recommendations or suggestion on our plan?

I think it looks good! There is no guarantee you will be able to get a walk-up at The Wave. If you want to play it by ear, I would simply check the MDE app when you know where you would like to be around dinner time. Chances are, if the Wave isn't available, something casual on the monorail or WL or Ft. W (you can access those by boat from CR) will be available. If you are ok with nothing being available, you could also simply eat at Contempo again or do QS at a monorail resort or WL (the new Geyser Point at WL looks really good!)

Looks good. As PP said, no guarantee of a walk up at the Wave. I agreee that checking MDE once plans are made is a good idea. There is almost always something available.
