Any success stories on adding a person 2 months out from your trip?

Trip is in mid-November. Wife is wanting to take one of our nieces. We already have our ADRs and FP+ booked. We are a party of 6 (with one of them being a 2 year old, not sure if that matters since he doesn't need tickets, etc.) I don't really think it would work anyway due to only taking one niece and not the other handful of nieces/nephews, but even if it worked out, is there anyway to add her to existing plans?
I'm doubtful that it can be done this late in the game, but just getting ideas anyway.

You will be able to work things out to at least some degree of satisfaction.
Not all things can be changed, but many will.

It will involve some time spent checking, rebooking, checking, rearranging, checking, and re-checking.

We did something similar with our last trip. One of my sisters family and mine was going and then a niece from another sister asked to join. We actually had no issue adding her into almost everything. We did have to move a couple of ADRs around for dinners but just by a few minutes. The most challenging was the Wishes Dessert Party. It was some work but we made everything work out.

Have fun and good luck!!

It was not easy to add a person back for our Mid-Aug. trip, but I'd think mid Nov. might be easier. Or maybe not. Anyways, as long as you don't want A&E meet and greet or 7DMT you'll be fine adding a person.

I joined my parents trip about 2 months out and we had no problems. We ate at TS restaurants twice and both times they were able to go from 2 to 3 people on the booking, and for the most part I was able to get FP's around the same time as them. Occasionally it would mean they waited 10-15mins for the gap in between mine and theirs, but nothing serious. I was added to their hotel room no problem, and when I got to the airport I just explained I'd been added to a reservation last minute and they gave me a ticket for the Magical Express.

You can change things with no issues I would think.

I added my mother and father-in law to a trip a month or two after my family (and my sister in-law's family) booked our trip.

Fast Passes were not an issue as I was able to find overlapping times for the two of them with our group. (We had a fast pass at 10:30 AM .. they had one at 10:40, etc.). But it may be a struggle depending on the rides.

The big issue was ADRs.

We had a 7 person reservation for BOG lunch and couldn't find a slot to add two more people. I kept looking and just was eventually able to book a separate 2 person reservation near our same time.
Same thing with Hollywood & Vine.

In both places we were able to just get a big table together despite separate reservations within 5-10 minutes of each other.

Just took retrying every day for a while until something opened up.

FP's for any rides with a height restriction (which are usually the ones that run out first) will not be an issue since you have the 2 year old. You can get a rider swap and the niece will have to just ride with the adult that is keeping the baby while everyone else uses their fp to ride. The adult that waits with the baby can get on with two additional passengers so no fp would be needed for the niece on those rides.
