I keep running out of texts on my plan - is there any way to add extra texts? I love their plans and phones but when you call customer service NO ONE ever speaks English!

I have straight talk on my iPhone 5. I pay $42 a month unlimited talk, text and web.

I have straight talk with unlimited texting and talk. If you keep running out of texting you must be on the $30 plan. You will need to up your plan if you keep going over.

Can you change your phone number at any time on Straight Talk? Having problems with my phone number crossing with someone else's line with my voice mail. Want to get a new phone and try this number first hoping it's just a problem with my phone but if I still have problem with voice mail on new phone can I change the number without getting another new phone.

Yes, they can and will change your phone number if you request it.

Getting new straight talk phone this weekend. Can't decide between Samsung Galaxy Precedent or Samsun Galaxy Proclaim. Anyone have good/bad experiences with these phones. love them or hate them.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have to pay full price for iphone 5? Is the $42 with tax included? My daughter has been bugging for Iphone 5 but I don't want to add the expense
onto my Verizon plan. Data charge is very expensive.

Thanks for your help

Well, you used to be able to bring your own device from AT&T. I brought my own IPhone 4 (from AT&T) but they are no longer selling AT&T sim cards. You can buy them on ebay. Don't think they ever sold the nano sim for the IPhone 5 but people had the micro sim cut to fit. Right now I'm not sure if there's much of a work around except to buy the phone from ST. I think Walmart is offering it interest free ($25/ month for 26 months) if you use their credit card.

It is $45/month + tax. There is a $2.50 discount if you enroll in auto refill. I paid for a full year. With tax (in Virginia) it was just over $500.

You can bring your own phone if you have an AT&T or TMobile phone, if you are Sprint or Verizon you can not. Currently they are not selling AT&T sim cards, however you can purchase them at Wal-Mart.com or Ebay.
The iPhone 5 that straight talk sells through walmart runs on Verizon towers only.
Straight talk is not unlimited data... many do not read the fine print which states that streaming such as pandora, you tube, netflix and the like must be done on wifi only. Unlimited data is for web browsing only. Many people again do not read this, and then get mad when the data is throttled or turned off because of streaming or tethering.
I say all that to add... I have straight talk and love it. I have the Samsung Infuse 4G and love it much more than the iPhone that I passed on to my husband.

Another option many do not know about is H20 Wireless... uses same towers as AT&T, can buy the sim card at Best Buy and other places. This is what my husband is on. He is on the $25 month plan 1000 talk or text. He has my old iPhone 3GS, and doesn't talk much on the phone and only uses wifi for the internet so no need to pay for it. They do have a $30 unlimited talk/text plan as well. They have plans that include wifi, but I haven't paid attention to them as he doesn't need it.

My friend *who gifted me my iPhone 4S* cut down my sim with an exacto knife, practiced first on an old sim. Works great!
