Any special requests for Villas at Wilderness Lodge?

Are there any special areas to request at the VWL? Everyone here helped me get an excellent view at SSR by knowing what to request. So, I was just wondering if we should/need to request anything at VWL.

Well, you have woods, woods and woods plus maybe a few with the pool view and a little bit of the lake through the woods. VWL isn't known for it's views.

There are a few rooms that will look out toward the quiet pool if you would like that. Otherwise it's trees. What size villa do you have? If it's a studio it's good to be aware that there is one that does not have a balconey. I believe the number is 4533.

If you are staying in a studio, your biggest concern is to make sure that you are not all the way at the end of the long hallway with a view towards the front. If you do, you will have a very nice view of the dumpster area. We've had it before and it is not nice. What I ask for now is a room near the elevator. That will make sure you don't get the dumpster. On our last trip (3 weeks ago), I asked for this and we got first floor, right next to elevator lobby. Of course when we sat out on patio we saw everyone entering and leaving building but that was no big deal. DW and myself decided this was the perfect room. It was so quick and easy to get to. I think from now on, I'll ask for 1st floor and close to elevator.

If you want a dedicated 2-br villa, you might want to request one of the 'atrium' 2 bedrooms. They are right off of the atrium and are close to the elevator.
