Any special requests for BW view room?

Our trip to BWV is approaching and was wondering if anyone had suggestions about special requests for a BW view 1BR (close to stairs, elevator, etc.)

You already have the premier view - IMHO, there is no need to make any other request, except for S or N/S, of course!

The only things I can even think of to request would be close to the elevators (or not), upper floor / lobby floor or perhaps a tub (if you have a studio and do not want a handicapped room).

A lot of people seem to like upper floors.

A lot of people seem to like close to elevators.

A lot of people seem to ask specifically for the "Crest of the Wave" building - I think that particular location and high up might be the best bet for Illuminations fireworks - but I also think that one is a hike from the elevator.

But lower floors make it easier to take the stairs - particularly if you aren't close to the elevators. Personally, I'd rather have one flight of stairs than a high floor.

The main entrance to the elevator is located just off the lobby area on the second floor. (On the first floor it is next to the health spa). To get to the guest rooms you go up and either right or left as you get off. It is pretty centrally located. There are stairs throughout the resort that can get you to all kinds of interesting locations, like near the quiet pool or the path to MGM, etc....

I was told there are NO Boardwalk View smoking rooms period.

As for other requests.... We loved being above Big river Grill. I would love to be able to drop a basket down and have dinner put in it.....

If not, its a change made in the past year. We had a BWV smoking room last October, it was also handicapped accessible. The first room over the Screen Door.

I would ask for high floor first and away from the elevators second.

The reason why I want away from elevators is:

quieter - not so many people going down the hall
fireworks - better view

I had near the elevator once and hated it. You got all the traffic in the hallway going by the room.
