Any skyauction discount code for August 2007 similar to Aug 2006?

During August 2006 there was a discount code available for $50 off ANY auction purchase. I believe the code was 50AUG2006.

Does anyone know if by chance skyauction is offering a similar discount this month? I emailed them this question several days ago, but they didn't email me back.

who did you email .....was it reservations@skyauction.com, they seem to put you in the queue and promise a reply shortly....NOT!!!

on a second note, called today about our "Travel Certificates" for future offers on the skyauction ......they said they expired in april

yet nowhere on the original auctions did they mention an expiry date for those certificates, although the resort certificate had to be used by April 30 2007

there certainly was some ambiguity with respect to the original "travel certificate" offerings as to expiration date

it now seems to be noted on the Home & Away auctions that the "travel certificates" for future offers have a short future, as they specify when the certificate has to be used by

getting a good deal is getting a bit more difficult

I used it to purchase $250 in gift certificates for Antonios in Celebration for a total of $34 after I used the $100 off certificate.

Try to email them yourself. They may extend it for you too. The new auctions state the expiration date of the $100 Skyauction certificate in the auction, but last year, they did not.

the person we spoke to yesterday said that the date of expiration was at the bottom of the auction listing, but that date seemed to only reinforce the expiration date of the "resort certificate"

what you said reflects what we were thinking about the way the auctions were worded last year... a bit of ambiguity to say the least

how long did it take for you to get a response from skyauction, they seem to be a lil show on the "response front" ?

I have had response times of usually 24-72 hours for emails, but also did not get a response at all when I asked about the possibility of another August code.

I was also once told that it does not matter who you email at skyauction (reservations, support or customer service; all slightly email addresses), that all the emails end up in the same department, so now I usually email support.

It takes about three business days to get an email answered. I address them to Rose Clarke in Skyauction Support. She seems to be the one that always fixes any problems I have. My emails have always been answered but you are right, it seems to take forever.
