Well, if you ever need another single parent to go with, just let me know! My mom goes with me and Emily, because as you know it's not so easy to do it alone with kids, but WDW isn't really her thing, so I would love to find another parent to go with. My mom must really love me! :teeth:

Hey everyone! I was so happy that I had to share with ya'll that I got my MVMCP tickets today! A very wonderful person from the DIS could no longer go and use their tickets, so they found out that I was planning to go November 28-30, and offered their tickets to me! How wonderful is that?? Now all I have to do is find some good airfare and I'm all set! I'm just so excited!!! Thanks for listening, and I don't want to seem as if I was rubbing this in anyone's face who wasn't going, I just wanted to share with all my wonderful friends! :goodvibes  :cheer2: :cloud9: :grouphug: :bounce: :bitelip: :Pinkbounc :cool1:
Thats okay. As long as we get to read about it when you get back. You are going to take good notes right?

Now I'm not so sure that I'm excited any more. :( I just realized these tickets have this person's last name on them so I'm not sure if I can use them or not. Does anyone know?

This should not be any problem as long as they are honest.

Since they should indicate they are for MVMCP and a specific date they cannot have been used and therefore will not have had any biometric scan. When you use the ticket you will be tied to it. The only time a ticket is questioned is if you try the finger scan (at least twice) and the greeter gets a message of "verification fails".

The reason I say "as long as they are honest" is if a person reports a ticket as lost and has proof of purchase or identification if the name was on the ticket any ticket window or Guest Services can verify that the ticket was unused, cancel it, and issue a replacement. If anyone then attempts to use the original ticket it will be denied.

I wish I found you one month sooner. I put all my points into my March Trip. Staying an extra 4 days. BTW I have a Emily she is 3 1/2, My mom is going with me on my March trip. She likes going but doesn't care for the parks much. She is from Upstate NY so she is going to enjoy the warmer weather.

I'm a grandmom but my disneyprincess is not going this year. we decided 19 mos was a bit young and she would enjoy it more next year BUT if you are in the parks in Dec 9 -17th I'll be glad to vol. a helping hand(s) lol for the time I'm there. It would be a pleasure to see other darlings with smiles on their sweet faces as they enjoy the magic. I'd take the pics for ya lolol...hard to get them when you are the Mommy... pirate: princess: :joker: :bounce:

Good Morning Everyone

I am starting to get really excited for my trip...Its 47 days away and my first solo adventure. Got all my stuff in my planning binder...and being the list maker that I am, have a packing list going. My co-workers think I am nuts...I was sitting at my desk this morning before 9 with my mouse ears on. :earsgirl: You guys don't think I'm nuts do ya.

WOOHOO Katy you have a clipboard of fun too!!!
My ex HATED that I had lists and binders for everything. Eventually he learned to live with it and we'd call it my "clipboard of fun".. from "Full House".... when they went to disney Danny had a clipboard of all scheduled things to do and times etc... the family hated it. Me? i'd have married danny.. I like to have a list of EVERYTHING I need to do so nothing is forgotten and time isnt' wasted:)

What can I say, I'm a planner...I'd have married Danny too...the people I usually travel with, they deal with the Binder...and laugh at me...but when we get home, they tell me what a great time it was... :)
