Any Single Disney Loving Guys Out There?

To me a solo trip is more relaxed. I dont have to worry about anyone else. I get to go to whatever park I want. I dont have to check with someone else.

The beauty of the DIS is its allowed me to go on these "solo" trips and meet up with others when you want. People who share that love of disney and you dont have to explain yourself too.

I had my first solo trip back in Feb. I was so nervous as I had never even flown alone. It turned out better than I could have ever expected.

23 days till my next solo trip. Its a trip that I need to recapture my "love of disney" that has been lost in the last month from a broken heart. And the best part is all my good friends will be there at the same time. So I can get that alone time I need but when I dont want to be alone or its too much to handle my friends will be there.

Hey- single Disney guy here, 48, RN in Omaha, just joined DVC when I was at WDW in October. Can't wait to get to my "home" @ AKV when it opens in 09!!! I might go to WDW in Jan 09 just cuz I can for a short visit. When it comes to Disney I'm about 48 going on 16!!

Welcome fellow RN from another RN. . .

Yes we do exist Gina!!!! Gotta keep the faith...:woohoo:

I'm tryin', I'm tryin'!! :yay: But all y'all are sooooo far away! I need to uncover the elusive and secret Single-and-Mouse-Obsessed-Texas-Men club. :thumbsup2

So...what do you guys and gals do on solo trips? It seems like it would be a little boring with no one to share it with?

Ditto what everyone else said...I look forward to trying some new things, to chilling out and keeping to my own schedule...
I'll be easy to spot if you're there from 1/25 to 2/1, I'll probably be in a suit and a convention lanyard...:rolleyes1

Hello all! 36 femal from Missouri recently single. I am an RN and have 3 children. We are taking our second trip in March 2009. My kids are almost grown and although I love them more than anything I am kinda looking forward to having an empty nest egg. My twin girls are 13 and my son almost 16.

Yea probably the safest you will ever feel in once place these days.:goodvibes I am sick right now and as a nurse I waited for 4 days to go to the doctor. I now have pneumonia and strep. I am on 2 antibiotics, prednisone, and cough medicine. So I am in need of a doctor

I am a single Disney man living in Utah. I am not an RN, but I am an RM, if you know Utah culture and understand what that means! :lmao: You really can sum me up in 4 words:

Those 4 words are pretty much my entire world. Hopefully I can add another word to that list:

Women

:rotfl:

I love solo trips, but with meeting up with all the DisFriends, I never feel alone.

I'm 53, going on about 30 (depends on how's the day's going lol) I live in central California. Made my first trip to WDW in January 08 with my brother and sister-in-law. My first trip to a Disney theme park in probably 15 or 16 years. Stayed at AKL while I was there, and joined DVC that week. Since then, been to Grand Californian twice. Going to OKW in February, commuting to the Daytona 500 experience. Then going on the members cruise in September. Guess my dormant MIckey is coming out big time!!;)

:welcome: glad you could join us on the thread.....

My mom is an RN and growing up I found out that they are toughest on illness and other health issues, and never think it's bad :rotfl:

in some cases they just dont like the wait...the long wait... only to find out that what you have been doing is the same thing the MD will suggest for you to do to hit the road to recovery... :faint: if only I have the license to write script when I call in sick... my life would be... Perfect !!!:lmao:

Wow... 4 RN's here and a first responder:grouphug: How cool is that? Hope you feel better soon Ragnrok. I agree with solo trips to WDW... I have been twice and have had a great time... the going at your own pace is wonderful. Try take a tour sometime, like Keys to the Kingdom- It's a nice way to meet people. Everyone have a magical day!!! (Hey, how do you all add a "signature" to your replies with dates visited and other info??)
