My toggle fell out and the little circle that holds it in is gone. While I figure out what to replace my phone with, trying to make do with this phone.

I can call people (essentially the only thing I require in a cell phone)--but I can't go through my menus.

I did figure out that I can use the keyboard to press the green phone and then type in letters to access phone numbers in my address book.

Are there any other keyboard "short cuts" to access any other features.

This is a blackberry my husband got for work in 2007 and is a hand me down from when his boss decided last year to upgrade them to I-phones.

Just trying to hold out b/c I really don't enjoy shopping for cell phones, so it will be a week or two minimum of me using my broken phone.

Thanks for the help!

Bummer. I know what a PITA it is when the trackball gets stuck, let alone be missing completely. I did a quick Google search of blackberry keyboard shortcuts and found this on crackberry.com. Hope this helps.

An easy way to access the default applications is through keyboard shortcuts as well. To use these, you must have Dial From Home Screen set to "Off". (Phone > Options > General Options). You will now have to use the Send key to access your phone and make a call, but you will have the following shortcuts available:

•W - WAP Browser
•R - Alarm
•T - Tasks
•U - Calculator
•O - Options
•A - Address Book
•S - Search
•D - Notes
•F - Profiles
•H - Help
•K - Lock keypad
•L - Calendar
•M - Messages
•B - Browser
•N - BlackBerry Messenger
•V - Saved messages
•C - Compose
