Hi,
Can anyone please tell me if anything whatsoever is available at the shops in Disneyland paris. If so what are the goods eg scrapbooking albums 12X12 inches etc.
Thanks in advance
Pauline

Hi Pauline,

The only scrapbooking stuff I saw was a 12" x 12" spiral bound book (labelled 'scrapbooking book') which had lots of pages marked 'Mickey', 'Donald' etc with pics of them at the bottom, and it had a few pages of stickers etc with it. I *think* it cost about E25. It was very nice, but not what you traditionally buy for scrapbooking here. However, it could be adapted to use 'normally'. It was available in lots and lots of the shops!

Thats all I have seen as well. It is a big thing in Walt Disneyworld as they have a whole shole dedicated to scrapbooking but DLP has still to catch up.

:confused3

Hmmm funny this should come up, one of our local shops (like Boots) just had a package of Disney scrapbooking stuff in their folder this week. If you want PM me & I could have a look for you.

This is great thanks very much jjpenguin
I have some Dutch friends who are going home in april and they are going to pick me some up.

I don't know if they always have it, but I'm sure you could find it some other stores over here.

I'm probably going to sound like an idiot now, but what exactly is this "Scrapbooking" thing, I mean I collect allsorts of bits and bobs from our trips, serviettes, menus etc., which I've kept in our photo albums - do you put them into scrapbooks ? :)

Oh Jill you have been missing out here.
It is great way to preserve your memories. It is a mixture of a photo album and other highlights like your serivettes. Try putting the word into Google or another search agent and see what comes up.

Wow - there's a whole world out there I didn't know about.

That really looks like a fab way to keep/display your memorabilia and photos - I might have a go at one after our trip - I knew there was a reason I needed to collect what my DH terms as rubbish.;)

Thanks for enlightening me. :goodvibes

HI Jill
tell your hubby its not rubbish!!its putting memorabilia in a safe place! isnt it awesome!! doing a google and seeing all that people have done with thier scrapbooking? dd and dh are going to disneyland paris this month and i told them to try and bring back anything that doesnt walk or talk for the scrapbooking i hope to get done, I am also new in this field and buying stash online, but hey disney passes will be free and the fastpasses ;-))))

Well I'm hoping to pick up some 15th Anniversary goodies next time, I've some nice bits and bobs from our Halloween trip a few years ago too !
They all mocked me when I went scrabbling through our room bin retrieving items, although by then end of our last trip, nobody dared throw anything away without asking me first:rotfl2:

Jill we must be related :lmao: I do the same - napkins, maps, sugar and anything with the logos on them:confused3 They will be useful one day

It's funny you should mention sugar because the other day we'd run out, and I let DH have my 2 sugar sachets - he wouldn't have been able to have them if we didn't have another trip planned mind.;)

I did a collage in one of those big clipframes from our first trip, which is on the boys bedroom wall, I love looking at that - they gave my DS a big poster with lots of characters on for his birthday at County Hall and it makes a great centre piece.:)

Sounds lovely ~ can you take a photo of it to show us?
