Any rumors on Splash Mountain Reopening?

Just wondering - I thought I read April somewhere but I can't find anything. We'll be there April 13-16 and I'd love to be able to be... well... down at the laughing place!!

I wrote to Guest Services about this earlier in the month and was told April 14th:
"Thank you for your email to the Disneyland® Resort.

Our Splash Mountain attraction will return from refurbishment on April
14th."

But there was also a disclaimer that it may be subject to change. It sounded pretty encouraging since she gave me a firm date though!

Thanks! That's cutting it close on my visit (our last day there is the 15th) but here's hoping!

This must be the overhaul to end all overhauls. Over 3 months down and not changing any scenes. That's brutal.

There's plenty that needs to be fixed. Here's hoping they actually fix all of it.

Doesn't mean they aren't fixing the animatronics though, which need a rehab. Really this is normal about every 5 years for Splash and you can bet there are going to be a lot extended rehabs between now and when Galaxy's edge opens, as they won't be able to bring down many attractions for a while after that happens without causing really bad crowding issues.
