the only rumor i've heard is that if they offer an extension anywhere besides OKW, it definitely won't be at VB.

With the amount of beach erosion that has happened, I'm not so sure VB won't be in the ocean in 2042...

Today, I thought I would resurrect this post. Any thoughts on whether DVC will offer a VB extension?

Not VB but a guide told us in January that BWV was being considered for an extension. OKW still had contracts that were still in limbo for that extension and that had to be settled first.

Interesting, I hadn't heard anything about a possible BWV extension.

I was talking with a couple of other BWV owners a few days ago and the opinion among all three of us was that Disney would want to take back BWV and resell that location, none of us were expecting an extension to occur. If it did I would be pleasantly surprised.

For one thing, I don't think the guides would really know.

And from comments made by some OKW owners, their extensions will remain unresolved till 2042 as they have said that they intend to challenge the legal grounds of Disney charging for the extension.

I continue to think VB is a safe bet to never be extended...
