Any rides to avoid with young children?

I know there are height restrictions on many rides, but has anyone ever taken their child on a ride and then they freaked out while they were on it. Is there any that appear okay but are just too much for young kids?

I know my DS, age 3, loves rides but has been really terrified of dark rides at other parks.

We took out oldest, now 8, when he was about 3-1/2, and he didn't like the dark rides either, and unfortunately, a lot of the ones that are aimed at kids this age are dark....especially in the MK. The Snow White Scary Adventure has warnings outside that it's scary, so I'd definitely skip that one. The Peter Pan ride is basically a ride through a nighttime sky overlooking scenes below.....it's not like it's pitch black or anything, but it is dark; ours didn't want to go on that again. Obviously, the Haunted Mansion may not be a good choice either. We went again this past Fall when our DD was 3-1/2 and our youngest DS was 15 months, and Peter Pan didn't bother them at all, so it really depends on the child. Good bets if you're trying to avoid dark rides would be Small World and Winnie the Pooh which only have brief dark spots. Have fun!
