Trying to decide whether to try Tiffins in July or not, and if so whether or not to do the Jungle Book dining package. Would love to hear about it from anyone who was there this weekend!

WDWMAGIC.com also has an in depth review of Tiffins. Allears.net has a review of Tiffins, and I suspect - haven't looked yet - that the Disney Food Blog -has a review as well.
The review I read of Tiffins and the Nomad Lounge are all good, not so much so for the Jungle Book show.

I'm so happy to read the great reviews and the pictures on easywdw are fantastic! I can't wait to give this place a try in August.

I have a solo reservation for dinner at Tiffins in June. Anyone have an idea whether waiting for my "table" as opposed to just getting a seat at the bar in the Nomad lounge will be worth the wait? Single eaters never seem to get priority seating despite having reservations at WDW, so just looking for view points here. Thanks!

I would love to have a drink here and enjoy the ambience but for actually eating here nothing enticed me about the menu.
Just me maybe but if I were to spend $150 plus on dinner it would not be here

I'd love to read more reviews on Tiffins too. We have the JB show dining package in early June. The restaurant and food look amazing!

I thought that I read there would not be the option of ordering a meal from tiffins at the bar or in the lounge.

Nomad Lounge has its own small plates menu. You cannot order from the Tiffins menu at Nomad. I would suggest checking in to Tiffins and then going to Nomad for a drink (they are connected by an interior hallway). Tiffins will text you when your table is ready. Yes, it's worth waiting in Nomad with one of their delicious drinks for your table in Tiffins.

In the linked story from WDW magic, I found this quote that differs..

Single diners in particular may enjoy bellying up to the bar, which serves its own menu of small plates, in addition to the full Tiffins menu.

Hmmmmmmmmm????

I did read you can order anything from Tiffins while at Nomad.

Both places are gorgeous, and the food looks DIVINE. I am hemming and hawing on if I am going to try it when we are there next..

I don't know how they received the full menu of Tiffins in the lounge area. We were just there first of last week and were told (from managers & bartender) we could not order off the full Tiffins menu. I suppose of course things can change in a few days or week. Would be nice if they actually did offer the full Tiffins menu in the lounge area.

Thanks for all the responses. The one beauty of being a single diner is I have no reason to rush, so I think I will take the advice of DisneyWishes14 and wait for my actual table while sipping on a drink in Nomad. Best of both worlds if they will infact text me when my table is available.

Our Ratings of Tiffins: (*rev 5/30/2016*)
. . . food price value: C
. . . food quality: B
. . . food quantity per serving: C
. . . food prep speed: C
. . . food selection: B
. . . seating quantity: C
. . . seating comfort: B
. . . eatery atmosphere: B
. . . eatery convenience: B
. . . staff friendliness: A
. . . staff attentiveness: C
. . . character interaction: n/a

Our Recommendations:
. . . appys:... Flash-fried Icy Blue Mussels
. . . entrée:.. Berbere-spiced Lamb Chop
. . . dessert:. Lime Cheesecake

NOTE1: Tffins is located within the Animal Kingdaom park, and is a Signature
Dining exprience. The atmosphere is fresh and light, and (surprisingly) the noise
level is acceptable. Although new, we found the service a little slow and uneven
for attentiveness. The prices were higher than we would guess, but it is a SIG
within a park, so WDW figures they can charge anything they wish. Overall, we
were more pleased with the actual dining than the pre-opening Menu Tasting.
.
NOTE2: As opposed to other better WDW eateries, one cannot order "restaurant" food
at the "bar". Only the "bar menu" is available.

Well, I actually had drinks in Nomad on both Friday and Saturday night and dined in Tiffins on Saturday night. The CM's specifically told people they could not order off the Tiffins menu in Nomad and no Tiffins menus were available in Nomad. So . . . I'm speaking from first hand experience. As of Saturday night, Nomad guests could not order from the Tiffins menu.

I just re-read the sentence, and it's confusing, but what Josh was saying was that, yeah, you can go to the bar for a small plates menu that is in addition to the Tiffins menu you get in Tiffins. His wording could've been much better, but, I believe that that was what he was getting at considering other posters first-hand experiences.
