I've made our ADR for Boma (yes, I know, some love it, some hate it) because we've been there before and my other half:) loves it. What is it about men and macaroni and cheese?? Also France (again, we've been there and "I" love it), but the three places mentioned in the title we have NOT been to. We have been to "almost" every other place for dinner -- this will be our 5th trip to Disney.

Any thoughts on the California Grill? Has anyone been there to see the fireworks? What time do you have to get there to get a window seat?

How about Raglans? I looked at the menu, and it looks good.

And Coral Reef? I've heard the seafood is excellent.

Looking forward to our trip in September!!!

Do a search on those restaurants, and you'll find tons of info! :thumbsup2 I'm looking for info on Coral Reef too! :fish:

DH and I have eaten at CG twice and loved it both times. They gave us a window seat and Dh let me sit facing MK. :) It was a fabulous, leisurely meal.

I have eaten that Raglan Road and CA Grill.

We went to Raglan Rd right after it opened last October. My dad LOVED it (he also loves Boma, so......). If I had felt better (I had gotten one of my sinus migraines after sitting out for LMA at the Studios) we would have stayed for the entertainment. I hear that is great.

We went to CA Grill in 2001, I think. We sat on the EPCOT side, and watched illuminations while eating desert. We were able to go out to the observation deck and watch the MK fireworks. The food was really good - two thumbs up!

As for seating at the CA Grill, it is probably a crap shoot. We were there in late September, but the resturant was full. Ask the CM when you call the res center to see if they can give you more info on that part of your question.

Good luck & happy eats! :sunny:

We dined at all three in May.

CG is a must each trip for us although we go on the early side and so usually miss the craziness of trying to get window seats, etc. Great service and food and a stunning view Wishes or not. We also like that there are so many different things on the menu. Even when all six of us are there, everyone can find something.

Coral Reef had been a favorite for many years after Epcot opened but we hadn't been in at least five years I think. We had very good food and service except my husband ordered a steak medium rare and it arrived medium well. As he said, he shouldn't have tried a steak in a seafood restaurant so he switched to a fish dish. The Chocolate Wave is a decadent dessert there. We will be back. Probably trip after next so our seafood lover will be with us.

Raglan Road was a first for us. It is such a pretty restaurant and our server was good. We really enjoyed the dishes we ordered and will also go back probably on the next trip although I have to figure out some ARS.

Thank you, I am getting (more) excited by the day.

I did a little snooping around, and was very pleased with a search of the menus for these places.

And I am going to check once we get down there (in September) regarding the CG, but at least I know I have reservations there, rather then getting down there and not being able to get in.

If I'm this excited now, I'll be unbelieveable (that is, to anyone NOT on a disney discussion board) by next month.. and I don't want to think about August.

I am soooooo looking forward to this trip!!
