Any reviews of the Buffet offered during holiday times at the DL Ballroom (m)

I booked Thanksgiving dinner and I can't seem to find any reviews of it. My aunt/uncle did the dinner once and said it was horrible. They waited 1 1/2 hours for their table and food wasn't that great. I searched Disboards but I can't find any info on it.

I've seem some favorable reviews. For a Thanksgiving meal there are not a lot of options at the resort.

We did it last year!
WE LOVED IT!

The food had a great variety and we ate a ton!
We waited about 10-15 mins for our table and stayed at the table for quite awhile. There was live entertainment that we enjoyed.

The characters rotated a ton of times throughout the meal and there was a good variety of characters.
We were very impressed.

However....the price....YIKES!
But we would do it again. Its worth the experience and the food is wonderful. We did have to pay an upfront tax for the waiter at the beginning that I want to say was close to 50.00.....we werent happy because they never did anything but brought drinks. So that was a little ridiculous.

Blue Bayou also has a great meal for TG if you need other choices.... but im not sure if it will be open by then.


I would say GO FOR IT!
