We have a breakfast ADR next month. I haven't really seen many reviews or posters on this restaurant? Has anyone tried it? What's the food like? Are there any dress codes?

Can't speak for breakfast but dinner was really good. Nice resturant ,atmosphere & great CM's. :thumbsup2

I also cannot tell you about breakfast, but we had dinner there last month. It was good, but I have to say that we were big fans of the Contemporary Cafe, the restaurant that was there before (well, not in the same location, but you know what I mean), so we kept comparing it to the old one. Our waitress was fantastic. My daughter and I rated our wait staff for our vacation and she was number 1. The desserts are really good, you pick three different ones. The atmosphere is nice and it is away from Chef Mickey's so you don't hear the yelling and screaming from the kids, etc., but I have to say I missed it and also missed watching the monorail (yes I was always one of the lame people who waved). Overall it was a very nice dinner and we would probably go again, just miss our Contemporary Cafe.

ENJOY!!

Oh boy, it was late I guess last night! I meant the old Concourse Steak House. Contemporary Cafe was an old fav of ours, but it was where Chef Mickey's is now.

I posted a review on the review board for dinner a couple weeks ago. I can't say about breakfast, but dinner was by far our absolute best meal all trip.

We were in the World 2 weeks ago, and gave the Wave a shot for dinner. Scale of 1-10, we gave it a 2, not to our liking, menu prices are ridiculous and we have no children, all married, but saw nothing on the menu for children, if they ordered an adult meal they wouldn't eat, at huge prices, comes to a huge bill.

Wife and I had the flank steak, you got cuts of flank meat on a bed of shredded carrots, cooked. Thats it, no salad, no potato no bread, those are all extras, paying 28 bucks for flank steak ought to come with a salad, bread and potato. We tried it and we're done with that, for the money we could have saved a bunch going to FW Trails End dinner buffet and had alot of choices. I also got 1 beer, bud light, new aluminum bottle, 6.50, no bargain in my eyes.

I still have to write up a review, but I wasn't impressed at all with my meal there. It started out with very slow service - supposedly the waitress had her station changed and didn't know I was there (that was maybe 10 minutes). I was okay with that, but she kept disappearing all night. Then she said she was bringing me bread, but the food came out. It was just a very odd night, and the food was so-so. The bread was like a cold multi-grain bread (I did ask for it even after my food arrived), and the filet was okay - nothing special, a lot of sauce. Dessert was fine, but I was ready to leave by then.

My original plan was to go to Trails End, which would have been a lot better choice.

We were at the Wave three weeks ago for dinner with our granddaughter (age 5) and a few weeks before that we enjoyed the lounge with a party of six adults for drinks/wine and appetizers.

The lounge service was pretty good, appetizers were excellent.

Dinner at the Wave was very good, the childrens menu was quite impressive as the food is pretty healthy, not cr*p. Our granddaughter had salad with ranch dressing, chicken breast and cinnamon apples, along with chocolate milk. Hubby and i both had the filet with fingerling potatoes. I had the smokey tomato soup with mini grilled cheese for an app, hubby had something else which was wonderful. All the food was good.

The service and wait time, management of the kitchen and overall dining room getting people in/out seemed to be a problem. Needs some work.

Would love to try breakfast!

we just ate there 2 weeks ago... loved it. Loved the whole feel, the food, the CM, the desserts were so so. BUT we did love the cheese cake. :thumbsup2
