Any restaurants have a good view of Epcot's Illuminations?

Rose & Crown in UK if you're lucky enough to be get an outdoor table? Cantina San Angel in Mexico but get there early!

Rose and Crown. Haven't eaten there myself but since I'm a Brit I thought I better give it a mention.

We usually grab a table early in the Cantina in Mexico. We sit and relax while eating nachos and drinking margaritas! :p The view is great from there, and the wind never seems to be blowing that direction! The one time we tried the Rose & Crown, the smoke was so bad we could hardly see the show!

I had not heard about the Cantina in Mexico being a good spot for fireworks. I love nachos and I love margaritas too so this sounds like a plan for us. Can anyone tell me just how early we would need to grab a table? Would 8:00 or 8:30 be okay? Is there a lot of crowding and do people try to stand in between the tables like I've heard they sometimes do at the Rose and Crown? Thanks for your insight!

We were at the Cantina in Mexico at 8:00p Monday night and couldn't get a seat near the railing. I'd try around 7:30p to be sure to get a seat! Good luck!!

I agree! We always grab our table around 7:30 or so. I know it seems like a long time to sit there (1-1/2 hours), but it's nice to relax after walking around all day. I usually leave dh there for a few minutes while I poke around the Mexico shops too! :)

We had a fireworks view from our table at the Bistro de Paris, too.
Cheers!

We just got back and had dinner at the Rose and Crown. We made PS for 7:30pm and got a GREAT outdoor seat. The location was perfect and I was a hero in my DD and DH's eyes. What a show. The food was wonderful!!!

WE ALWAYS EAT OUR 1ST NIGHT AT BISTRO DE PARIS. YOU CAN'T HEAR THE MUSIC BUT YOU CAN SURE SEE ALL THE FIREWORKS AND BE ROYALLY SERVED WHILE YOU DO. ASK FOR THAT WINDOW SEAT!!!!!
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Another option - appitezers, sushi and drinks at the Matsu Lounge (totally butchered that name!) in the Japanese pavilion.
