We have booked a windsor hills condo through vacationcentralflorida.com for next January 2009 (yes 1 year away). We think we made a very good choice and have checked out the owner verification via the property tax website. Their price is great ($399 for 7 nights) and their condo(s) look fabulous.

I would like to know if anyone has rented from them and what your opinion is of their condos. I would love to hear of your trip report if anyone wants to share. They are fairly new so hopefully I will get a response.

George, gqchicago, a long time DISer (though his name doesn't show it) knows the guy and recommends them. It's a great web site. There's a guest book page on the website. The condos look very nice.

I'm renting from them in August (204 unit). I can tell you then about it.

So far, they are very helpful, very responsive and willing to answer all of my questions.

I intended to rent from them as well, but we they are strictly Sat-Sat. rentals, and we are going for 9 nights. The cost of the cleaning fee + the extra 2 nights somewhere else was basically the same as staying elsewhere for the full booking. We got a quote of $762. all taxes and fees included for 9 nights in a 3 bdrm though Florida Sun. It worked out to $84.66 per night. For 7 day rental, floridacentralvacation.com works out to $75.06 per night so that is excellent value.

We are arriving on a Friday and checking out on a Sunday, so we would have had to check in somewhere, stay one night, move to Windsor Hills for 7 nights, then check out and stay somewhere else for the last night. Way too much trouble for me to save $38.00! (I figured the 2 other nights would cost $100 per night).

We liked dealing with them. Everyone seems really nice.
