Hello, my DD4 has been asked to be the flower girl in my cousins wedding. All I have been told so far is to find an all white sash style dress so that a sash can be ordered to match the bridesmaids dresses. Does anyone have some recomendations for a beautiful "full ball gown" style dress? All of the ones we have found so far at our local bridal salon are $300+ (Ouch!)

Thank you for any help or guidance you can give us!

You can rent one from gagas.com for cheap! It's a GREAT site and you can get the dress for 3 or 6 weeks and the cost is maybe $40 at the most.

I bought DD a flowergirl sort of dress for a cruise we went on for about $25. I forget the seller, but there are a ton on there (new ones).

Hi five to your cousin for giving you the flexibility to find something reasonably priced!

Dapper Lads. They have a website. Google them. They have cute stuff and it won't break the bank. They also ship pretty fast too and their Customer Service is good.

I would try FlowerGirlDressForLess.com. I bought a dress for my daughter for them, and it worked out very well.

Also, google First Communion Dresses.

I second the First Communion dresses! - That's exactly what my flower girls wore. Two of my bridesmades' dresses had to be shortened, so the sashes were made from what was cut off. - It meant they matched perfectly, and I loved the look!

another vote for looking on ebay - you can get some really nice one for cheap - My DH's Aunt made the flower girl's dress for our wedding - I picked out the pattern & we bought extra material to match the dress.

I'll throw another recommendation for Burlington. DD was in a wedding last year...David's Bridal had the 'matching' one to the Bride's for $250 and it had a train!!! She was 3 no way could she walk with a train! Anyway, walked out of that store and next door to Burlington and bought a gorgeous, very simple (ie: way more appropriate for a 3 year old than the matching one), for $35. We got a TON of compliments on it.

Another tip - we DID get the little slipper-shoes with 'fancy' beads on them from David's (I think they were maybe $20). I highly recommend this route - especially if the child is going to the reception too. The last thing you want is hurting feet on the Flowergirl since she has brand new patent leathers on. The slippers were AWESOME!

Try USAngels.com. My DD has been in two weddings and this is the brand of dress she wore both times. They don't sell dresses through their website, but they list stores by zip code. Most dresses are in the $150 range.
