Any recent visitors to WL concierge?

trying to plan a trip to WL in Sep., and am looking at staying on their concierge/club floor. Really would like to hear some recent comments/reviews. I am interested in how helpfull they were before you arrived, once you did arrive, of course the offerings (do they still have booze and if there was anything to snack on for vegetarians), the views, the rooms (king rooms....are those just in the honeymoon suites?), and anything else that I might need to know! We are planning to go either on my birthday or our anniversary this year (both in Sep.), so anything that I can get IPO to help me with to suprise Hubby with?? I want good and bad experiences.

I stayed there in Agust 2006 and it was awesome. The staff was great, the food was good. We had an MK view bunk bed room and it was very nice.

It is pretty impressive. WL was the first concierge resort I stayed in and the treatment we got at the resort was just fantastic. They have snacks out, only concierge guests are allowed on the top floor, you are right in the main building and the view is great!

In our opinion, the WL Concierge/Club Floor is less impressive than other clubs at Disney. It still can provide an enjoyable time but when compared it does not rank top or second... etc. They do provide a solid selection of food offerings and there is less controls of the alcoholic beverages. They do close the food area during specific times of the day which you do not find at other clubs. This prevents you from getting beverages at these times. We felt they did not maintain the food line as well as other clubs do too. Also this club lacks a dedicated lounge but instead provides tables and seating in the "U" shaped hallway around the lobby. The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs and when we arrived early monring we were able to go right up to our room...just lucky.
