any recent reviews on Royal Plaza DTD?

just wondering if anyone stayed recently? we are planning on one night before starting WDW vacation. have stayed in the past but not the last couple of years. Any hidden fees?

Was there last October. Can't remember the fees, but it was horrible and would seriously recommend you looking elsewhere.

We did exactly that a couple weeks ago. We stayed there the night before checking into POR. It was OK. Kind of chaotic for me, but was worth the price by far. No hidden fees, actually was less than quoted. Just that resort fee that they tell you about when booking. Didn't use their transportation, just went to downtown Disney and drove. I would say it's worth doing for a night before, but was very glad we were checking into a DISNEY resort next day.
