any recent radisson stays?

Anyone stay at the Radisson recently? How was the stay? Was it clean? Last year a lot of complaints here, but it was okay when we stayed there in Aug. The shuttle however was a disaster. We were booked for 1 time with 4000 other people. People pushing and shoving to get on. It didn't matter what time you were booked for. Actual fighting going on. Hope they have resolved this.

We stayed there for one night prior to our cruise on 4/28/04. The room was okay, not great. The bath tub water drain was very slow. The shuttle was great. I made reservations for 10:30 and there was only one more family with us. Returning from the port was also very fast and efficient. We left our rental car in their parking lot and had a small breakfast before departing for the cruise. Don't worry this hotel is average.

We stayed there about three weeks ago. The pool and grounds were nice but the room was average. Clean but kind of worn looking. Still, I would stay there again, because the kids loved the pool and it is so close to the port. We took a taxi to the ship because all of the shuttle times were booked.

We stayed there last week and had no problem...the pool was really nice and the rooms clean.

Clam Catcher, Can I ask what you paid for the taxi to the port? I'm a little concerned about all the pushing and shoving that might go on. Thanks.

I wish I knew, but I can't recall. It's only 2 or 3 miles, though, so it was not a huge amount. The taxi was a minivan and worked fine. The driver was nice - she got our kids even more excited about getting on the ship. We took it because we did not make an advance reservation to use the shuttle, and all the times were booked. Perhaps that means that they are taking fewer people for the shuttle now to avoid the crowding.

We stayed there in Nov 2002. We had a 1 bedroom suite and found it to be fabulous. Clean and it appeared newly upgraded. The shuttle worked fine for us. We're a family of 5 and there were only 3 or 4 other people on our sheduled van to the port at 11:30 am. Upon getting off the ship, the van came shortly after we arrived at the shuttle stop. We would use them again in the future.
