Hi, everyone -

I am heading back to Disney in Feb. and with each trip I make an effort to try a new restaurant or two during our stay (while mixing in our favorites along the way).

This time out I have added in

Tony's Town Square
Chefs De France

Along with some of our favorites - Akershus (my friend loves it, I think he has a princess fetish actually), 50's Prime time, and Boma.

I have one more open night - and have a question or two. What do you think of TTS? Is it worth it? Since it is one of the last restaurants in MK I have not gone to, I thought I should try it. Bad idea/good idea? What other restaurant do you think I should try? I am on Tables in Wonderland this time around, so Dining Plan is not an issue....

Thanks!

TTS is 100% Ok, in my opinion. It's not the best restaurant in WDW, but my mom loves it, so we go occasionally. It's pretty much just simple Italian food, nothing super special, but fine.

As for suggestions... My top two restaurants are Chef's, which you already have, and Tusker House, but you have Boma, and they seem to be essentially the same thing, although Boma does have far superior desserts. I actually really like the DTD restaurants, Portobello being one of my favorites.

TTS is a great choice its has good food and my family really likes it. I would also suggest DTD Raglan Road or a monorail resort like Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe. These are all yummy and not necessarily over crowded.

I'd change Tony's to something else ASAP. Its the nastiest food i have ever had in my life. I'd say the quality of food is equal to (or even slightly below) Chef Boyardee. The fact that they call that pasta is laughable. I even went to Tony's with extremely low expectations due to all the negative reviews, boy i wish i had listened and booked else where! Any other TS at MK is much better than Tony's. Off hand in the MK area i'd recommend Ohana, Cali Grill, Kona, Liberty Tree (in MK). In Epcot Teppan Edo, Rose/Crown are great. If you want italian, Via Napoli is a popular place you might wanna consider. Or even Tutto Italia. Anything would be better than Tonys IMHO! :thumbsup2
