Any reason I can't do this?

Was copying over some more recipes awhile ago and came across one for "Asparagus Quiche" - that called for a 10 oz. box of frozen asparagus..

DGD doesn't like asparagus, but does like broccoli.. Any reason I can't make a substitution? Off the top of my head, the only other ingredients (besides the pie shell and vegetable) were: eggs; half and half; salt; pepper; and cheese..

I have always used broccoli in my quiche so I don't see why not.

I thought I saw a recipe for Broccoli Quiche somewhere, but wasn't sure.. My mom only made Spinach Quiche - which I was not too fond of, but choked down "or else".. LOL

For quiches, I use whatever veggies I have on hand....keeps life from getting boring...
