Any problem with Shoebuy Groupon?

Back in July I purchased the Shoebuy Groupon ($20 for $40 of merchandise). My mother knew we used Shoebuy alot, so she purchased one for us too.

Within three days I used the "gifted" one, no problem. Today, I went to use the one I bought and I get "invalid entry". I even double checked my purchase history and I've only made that one purchase from them since the groupon. I also thought maybe I mixed up the certificates and tried the one I used, with the same results.

Anyone else have a similar issue?

I'm going to wait until I get home and can double check what I have at home, just to be sure; then I'm contacting groupon. I've never had problems with Groupon or Shoebuy.

The fine print on the groupon says limit 1 certificate a person. So if you're using the same shoebuy account that you used when you spent your first one, it's probably not going to let you, since you've already used the 1 certificate you were allowed to have. I would just try to open a new account and see if it lets you use it then.

Also remember you can't use any other discounts with the shoebuy certificate, so if you have any discount codes entered, you have to delete them before you can use it.

I had an issue with a discount once and they (Groupon) cleared it right up. Send them an email...great CS.

I just tried a new account with a different billing address and credit card; the billing address obviously had to stay the same. Same problem. Called Shoebuy - they said it had "possibly already had been used"! I verified with them that I had only purchased once since the Groupon sale.

So I emailed Groupon. I'll see what happens.

(and yes it was disappointing to see that you couldn't use the Groupon and %off too, but it was still a pretty good deal on one pair of shoes)
