Any Pre-Boo Bash dining recommendations? Thanks!

We've made reservations for Boo Bash on a Friday night in October. We'd like to take in as much of MK as we can, hence our goal is to be at the park entrance at 7PM sharp. We also don't want to waste our limited time doing a sit down meal in the MK, but snacks and desserts would be fine.

With that in mind, does anyone have any recommendations for resort dining? Ideally, within easy reach of MK. We are very open minded with respect to food choices, so appreciate any and all recommendations!

Poly, CT, GF, or WL depending on your likes and location. All close proximity and you just have to choose the type of food you want.

Polynesian has Kona Cafe, quick walk back to MK.
Grand Floridian Cafe is good too, walk or monorail back to MK.
That Lobster Thermidor Burger sounds amazing. How's the travel time to MK front gate of the GFV vs KC?

Given the newer bus schedule I’d say it was 25 minutes from the front gate to GF; 20 minutes to Poly. Want to be safe? Give yourself 30 minutes for transit.

I understand the boat service is now running so I’d give the same 30 minutes even if it takes less time; I dislike being late.

There is no monorail stop at Poly currently. The monorail from GF probably takes 10 minutes.

Would there likely be a long line to get one the monorail from the GF to MK?

Would Parking/Eating at Disney Springs be a realistic option?

1. Not likely, a lot of people use the walking path to MK nowadays. I stayed at GF for 4 days a couple of weeks ago and took the monorail to MK exactly once.

2. That sounds like a massive headache to me. I would just eat at a monorail resort.

The bus service to Disney Springs might stop for the night before the end of the Boo Bash event, anyway.

I've never been on the WDW Monorail or visited any of the resorts mentioned. I'm really looking forward to this!

You really can’t go wrong with any of the restaurants around there. GF Cafe was probably my favorite meal of my last trip.

In the past there was no crowds at GF to MK excepting special events but can’t say now. It’s a really short ride even if it is crowded.

Parking is free at Disney Springs (woo hoo!) and pay for valet service.

Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge has great food and really nice scenery. Then a boat ride to Contemporary and then walk or take the monorail to MK.

The boat from Wilderness Lodge goes directly to MK. Don’t waste time with taking the one to Contemporary and walking. That one is not even running right now, anyway.

Point to consider - no reservations at Geyser Point so if you really want to be sure of getting to MK at 9 - I would stick with something at Grand Floridian or Poly or Contemporary that you can make a reservation for…
