Any positive feedback for Tony's Town Square?

DS is a Tramp fan and I thought it would be nice to eat here and watch Spectro from the porch (although I can't quite decide if that's worth no air conditioning! LOL!).

Anyone LIKE this place? I know lots of you hate it, but for those that like it, what did you order?

Thanks!

 We've eaten there 4 times, 3 for lunch, once for dinner and have eaten in all 3 sections. We've never had a bad meal, bad service, or a bad time. The food that stood out (in a good way!) was the goat cheese appetizer, a seafood pasta dish, and the tiramisu for dessert. JMHO though. Also, ask if Tramp is in the back, you might get his autograph;)

We have a tradition...on our very first day at WDW, we get off the plane, check in at our Resort and head to the MK. We have a late lunch at Tony's and order the spaghetti with the huge meatballs and butterscotch creme brulee for dessert. :cheer2:

We have done this for the past 3 trips and when we were planning the Feb05 trip I asked my DD6 where we should go for lunch on our first day...my DH chimes in and says "Tony's of course" I looked at my daughter and she says says..."it's ok mom, we can go to Tony's, its "tradition". The funny thing was that she made quote marks with her little fingers when she said "tradition". My husband fell over laughing and I made a PS for Tony's on Feb 2nd!!

I know a lot of people do not like Tony's but we really like it and will continue our "tradition" for as long as we can!!!

Sorry to be a spoiler but that's the one Disney restaurant we'll never go back to. The meal was terrible and very overpriced (even for Disney). For $18 spaghetti and meatballs I expected something that tasted better than Ragu.

We always try to stop at Tony's for lunch. We have never been disappointed.

Thanks - my poor DS. I'm trying to talk him out of Planet Hollywood, which is his other pick for dinner, because I know DH and I just won't be able to stand the noise and crowds. I was hoping that at least Tony's will be somewhat calmer.

We do like to try different dishes, and the menu over at Allears actually looked pretty interesting.

Thanks for all your replies. I think I'll go ahead with my plans for a late dinner on the MK EMH night, see Spectro from the porch, and fuel up so that we can stay awake til closing.

I'm sorry to be downer too but we will not be back to Tony's any time soon. The food was overpriced and medocre at best.
