Any Pod Squadders at the Marathon next week?

I know since many of you were at DAP, then you probably won't be going back, BUT, any Pod Squad members running next week? Or cheering on those who are?

We're bringing a group of 13, 6 of which are running, the rest are supporting! Looking forward to being in the World! It's been too long! (13 months)

I'm flying in the evening of the 8th. I didn't sign up in time (still kicking myself), but it would be awesome to come cheer some fellow DISers on. I know it felt great at the Muddy Buddy to have a cheering section!

I will be running the Goofy Challenge, and will be wearing my lime-green WISH hat.

If you haven't done so already, you really should stop in on the WISH - Events and Competition board, and considering meeting up at 4pm at Pop century; a great many of us will be there.

I'm interested in all the cheering I can get.

I'll be there running the Goofy. I'm actually doing the Goofy with 5 friends from my regular running group and I'm also part of the running team for another website -- Team All Ears -- so I'll probably be wearing a t-shirt with their logo on the back.

We're all planning on meeting up pre-race in the family reunion area under the sign for the letter U so feel free to swing by if you want to!

I'm going to have an amazingly slow race. I haven't done much running at all since my last marathon in late-November and I'm looking at Goofy as more of a run/walk photo opportunity than anything else. I did Goofy back in 2008 and had a great time stopping for all the characters and hope to do that again.

We will all be there. Going to be cheering friends on, but a quick trip before DW has our 3rd child. Gotta feed the WDW addiction sometimes.

I won't be there this year but will be doing the full in 2011. There are WISH meets set up by the folks on the WISH boards and they also have some water stops they will be volunteering at.

Go to the events section of the WISH boards and you can either find all the meet and volunteer information or post a new thread with questions. They also have some threads with information like the past weather for marathon weekend and things not to forget to pack.

The big meet is usually at the POP century Friday night and that is where the big picture gets taken. Usually there is a meet on the boardwalk for breakfast on Monday morning to close out the weekend.
