Any plumbers out there?

My shower stopped giving hot water. Its one of those handles that is one handle and you turn it around to add the hot water into the cold. Well its been working fine for years then all of a sudden when you turn it around to the hot side the water stops coming out. Any ideas what this could be?

Sounds like the hot water inlet is blocked. Some junk got into my mother's plumbing and clogged up the feed line to the hot water heater as well as the toilet inlet valve.

Do you have hot water elsewhere? If so, the problem is probably right at the shower control valve.

Yes we have hot water everywhere else. Thanks Ill check that.
