We've got a clogged drain in our one and only bathtub/shower....and it's Sunday night! It's standing water and so far Liquid Plumr has done nothing to move it.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

I was going to try that next. I'm starting to thing it's something with the bathroom drains in general since the sink is draining slower than usual.

Now that I think about it BE CAREFUL!! The plunger can cause the liquid plumber to splash up and that stuff is nasty!!!
You may need a snake...

I was wondering about the stuff splashing. Can I use a snake that I'd use in the toilet??

It's going to depend on your shower drain, some of them have a screw to get past the cover but it's really tough to get by the thing that closes the water off, it takes a 90 degree turn there. Is it a first floor shower? You might find a cleanout you can access from the basement

Thanks Alex. I was just down in the basement and couldn't find a cleanout but the water has started to go down slowly. We're going to try more stuff in both the tub and sink and cross our fingers.

I may have lost my Mrs. Cleaver tag but I still like things neat and orderly! ;)
