Just wondering if any anythinig around Disney does any trick or treating aside from the party at DL? Does DCA do anything special or any of the resorts/Downtown Disney?

Thanks in advance!

When we were there for Halloween in 2007 (staying at the Paradise Pier Hotel) all three of the Disney hotels had several trick-or-treat stations set up in each hotel, and we received a map to follow to find all the different stations.

We actually were at party that night and didn't do the trick-or-treating event around the hotels, but it sounded like a lot of fun and a great thing to do on Halloween night for those not at the party.

I'm pretty sure it was only for onsite guests though, although I have no idea if they actually checked to see if you were an onsite guest before handing out the candy.

I'm not sure if they are doing it this year again, but one of our DIS'ers reported seeing a special Halloween PhotoPass set-up in the GCH last year that seemed to only be there on Halloween. Lord knows why they don't keep it up all season long, but I guess they put it there for the trick-or-treaters. It was some sort of haystack setting with some pumpkins added in, I think.

We were there last year over Halloween. We were staying on-site and they did have trick-or-treating at the 3 hotels. We went to both PCH and GCH - the CM's have areas in the hotels where they were passing out candy. They DO check your room key though so you must be a guest at one of the 3 resort hotels.
