I am just about finished reading The Other Boleyn girl and I absolutely love it. I want to read more of her books, but can't decide which ones, do all the stories lead into the next in chronological order? If so I'll probably start from her first. TIA :)

Count me as a Gregory fan. Read "The Boleyn Inheritance" next. It is a kind of continuation of "The Other Boleyn Girl", and deals with Jane Parker in later years, and Queens Anne of Cleves and Katherine Howard. You will love it!

Thats what I was planning but when I went to purchase it I saw all the others she had written and wondered if somehow I was missing a number of stories that lead up to The Other Boleyn and any ones after it.

I've read and loved all of her books except for Wideacre & the sequels. Without giving anything away, I'll just say that it was disturbing. I need at least one likable character in a novel, and that book did not fulfill that requirement for me. Maybe I should read the sequels. Perhaps they make up for the first book?:confused3

Ditto this. I really liked TOBG but the Wildacre book made me feel ill and I didn't get half way...blech

I also was not wild about The Constant Princess as she changed "voices" too much. I may look into the other Boleyn books but not until I am sure they are not like Wildacre!

I've read a few of her books. I didn't like The Constant Princess, I found it very slow, I would recommend you skip it. The Other Boleyn Girl was great and I loved the Boleyn Inheritance (very soap opera like). The Queen's Fool wasn't as good as those two but was still very interesting. I haven't yet finished the series.

From Wikipedia:
On her website, Philippa Gregory says she does not write her Tudor series books in order. Read chronologically:
The Constant Princess (Katherine of Aragon)
The Other Boleyn Girl (Mary and Anne Boleyn)
The Boleyn Inheritance (Jane Boleyn, Anne of Cleves and Katherine Howard)
The Queen's Fool (A young Jewish girl's story of her service in the court of Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I)
The Virgin’s Lover (Elizabeth I)
The Other Queen (Mary I, Queen of Scots)

I actually really liked A Constant Princess. I read it right after TOBG and enjoyed taking a deeper look at who the person was who Ann B was messing with. Also enjoyed The Queen's Fool

Also read a Jean Plaidy book about Elizabeth that summer, so when it came time to read The Virgin's Lover I had had it up to here with Elizabeth, so I just skipped it!

Didn't get to the new one yet, but I will.

I just finished another book of hers that you don't hear much about called A Respectable Trade about the 18th century slave trade in England. It was an interesting new perspective about slave trading. Extremely sad. I enjoyed it as I read it, but looking back, I'd say the story took a leap that was a little too unbelievable (not wanting to give it away).
