Any past or current Transportation workers?

One of the jobs I am considering was transportation. What exactly does this job do? Do you actually drive and operate the monorails and boats (or any other things? What?) or do you just work on the platforms, loading guest or operating the gates? It seems like a relatively easy job but I suppose it should be hard to operate the vehicles. Is this a pretty competitive job? What type of schedules do you typically work and/or hours?
