Any other rides that require virtual queues? "No Fastpass" question. Planning advice.

Hi all,
We are heading down in December for the first time in a couple of years. We haven't been since Star Wars opened at HS so I have been reading up on the virtual queue process (but would appreciate any advice!!!) and wondering if there are any other rides there or any other park that require logging into a virtual queue? Also, since Fastpasses have been suspended, is there any planning that you suggest? We have always been park hoppers and have always gone with a plan in mind of what we would tackle first. Since this is so different, and also never having been for Xmas, I would love any advice you could offer.

Thank you!!!

Hello, My best friend just got back and said nobody ever told her Hollywood studios was opening even much earlier than the scheduled time on her day there. So she was waiting and waiting and never could get on because there were so many people ahead of her, so my advice is get there an hour before the park is scheduled to open so you will be one of the first in line. My friend was so sad because no one ever told her they were opening earlier than the scheduled time. My friend has been going to Disney for many many years and that was the first time anything like that ever happen to her. This covid is effecting everything. So just have a great time but remember get to the gate early get breakfast and chill. I never mind waiting because I love every thing about Disney. Love Minnie

Nope.

Also, with no FP, you just have to pick your fav rides and get in line.
(Like the “good old days.”)
Have fun!

The first post of this thread will give you all the info about the Rise VQ, including how to practice getting a boarding group. As for touring advice- be flexible. I've been dropping into the parks without much planning and usually just hitting up whatever has a short wait. Even rides with longer waits tend to get shorter as the day goes on.

No other virtual queues.

The best planning right now is your ADR's, and besides that be flexible. You will not likely be able to park hop.

I have made a list of my favorite "must do" rides with a (1), like to do (2), may do (3) and I really do not want to ride this (0). That way I can at least prioritize my rides. Spend a few days before you go looking at the wait times on the Disney app. They are not completely accurate, but they can give you an approximate idea of relative wait times (this ride will have twice as long as that ride). Just remember that it's a grain of salt - the time of day, the weather, and the average shoe size of the guests in the park all change those wait times.

Thanks so much. Good idea on making a list. Previously we have always gone for at least a week...this time we are only spending one day at each park so I think a priority list is a great idea.

This is what I like to hear!!!! Thanks :)

To be honest, it was all I could think to do as I prepare for my own trip in a week!

The most critical thing is to relax and enjoy and not stress it.
