Any Other "Divided" Households?

We've had to call truce around here~I'm voting McCain/Palin~DH is voting Obama/Biden. We can't even discuss this election anymore and have "agreed to disagree".

He is Union, I work for a Non-Union Shop (oddly enough, we work for the same parent company ) We are both first time voters (at 41 and 54 yrs old!!! )

If we pressed the issues, it could get ugly around here Oh, and we will be celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary on Friday (Halloween)~he had to remember somehow

Any other households voting against each other?

My husband voted McCain/Palin. He and his dad always vote Republican.

My 2 oldest are still unhappy Ron Paul isn't in it and they don't like McCain so they will most likely be voting Obama.

As for me I just don't know. I don't "love" either one, nor do I feel either one has my best interest at heart.

My DH can't vote but he's always been a big Obama supporter. I'm a disgruntled Clinton supporter. I told him I was voting McCain just to watch him freak - that was fun!

Yep, we always joke that we cancel out each other's vote every election!

yeah, my division is that my boyfriend refuses to vote and i am.

he told me "what will it matter? ma is a democratic state anyway with or without my vote.". i'm sure glad everyone doesn't think that way...

DH is a die hard republican, extremely conservative. He is very passionate about politics and often yells at the TV during debates, lol. He pretty much feels that Obama is a socialist and thinks McCain and Palin hung the moon. I, otoh, am so ready for a change. I never liked Bush and am really unhappy with not only the direction this nation is headed economically, but also am unhappy with our nation's image in other countries (let's put it this way, all my expat friends in other countries are voting Obama). Sarah Palin is also WAY too conservative for me, and she scares me a little.

All that said, I am *most likely* voting for Obama. I am still officially undecided but am leaning heavily toward voting democrat. DH would probably divorce me if he found out, lol!!!
