Any other "crazies" out there?

We are going in June yet only have our flight TO Orlando booked-no return flight booked yet. Anyone else out there as crazy as we are?

So are you just planning to stay there? Sounds like a great idea to me! (But, no; we always book round-trip tickets; we find it to be the cheapest way to travel.)

We have had our return flight booked for a long time but only booked our flight going down yesterday. We were waiting on Southwest for a decent fare. We are leaving May 25. It is not unusual for us to book our flights this late. Our patience always pays off with Ssouthwest.

HA! A few weeks ago, I booked 4 of us on return trips @ 40.00 each. I was able to book two of us for departing trips at 60.00 each. I figured I'd wait it out until another Ding fare came along. I checked every day and then I finally caved and booked the other 2 tickets at 160.00 ea. On Sunday, a Ding fare arrived for tickets at 50.00 ea. to Orlando. I canceled my husband and son's 160.0 tickets; took the credit; and applied it to 2- 50.00 fares. That should be the end of my story except I decided to use the credit to purchase a ticket for my mom. Same problem in reverse. I was able to get the 50.00 Ding fare to get her TO Orlando but the 40 return fares were gone. The best one way fare I could find to get her home was 158.00 until tonight...99.00 return non-stop flight. and we still have a 50 credit! Of course, I will continue to watch for a better deal - can't help it. It's the same sickness that drives me to enter everything into the computer for the boarding passes and then hit send at the exact second the 24 hour window arrives.

Ilovemydvc - I understand your pain! Yesterday we booked 5 $138 fares and 1 $153 fare. Today the internet specials came out for $59 but there were only 4 available. Now we have 4 at $59, 1 at $138 and 1 at $153 and we have a credit of around $300. I will keep checking everyday to lower the two higher rates.
