The menu looks great. I just made an ADR for June. Has anyone been?

I also noticed a rumor on another site that they may be closing this spring for another refurb. then changing the name. Has anyone else heard this?

Sorry if both of these questions have already been asked. I can't get the search to work today.

It was one of the better meals we had on our last trip. The menu has already changed a bit ... neither item we had is on the posted menu here on the DIS or over at Deb Will's site. My DH had a veal ravioli and I had pasta tubes with cheese and spinach covered in a creamy/cheesy sauce.

It is pretty expensive, though. Luckily, we were on the dining plan :).

Was your DD with you? How was the kids meal? (My boys like Spaghetti O's - so they should be fine :thumbsup2 - but I was hoping that it would be good.)

We ate there on our anniversary in October and thought it was good. We had the family style 3 course meal and had WAY too much to eat! We had the antipasto platter as an appetizer (which had enough on it to constitute a meal in itself). For our entrees we had lasagna and some pesto/pasta/potato dish that I can't remember. We had the dessert that came with the meal (pizzelles w/chocolate and apricot dipping sauces) and then the waitstaff brought us a second dessert in honor of our anniversary! I can't recall the last time I left a restaurant that stuffed!

Enjoy in June!

Wow! That sounds good. Can you get it with DDP?

Yes, she had spaghetti with marinara sauce (she's fussy and a vegetarian) with the meat ball on the side which we ate. She enjoyed her meal and she too is BIG a spaghetti-o's fan.

Whatever you do, if on DDP don't order coffee with dessert if you had a beverage with dinner!

I wanted to stay awake so asked for a cup of coffee with dessert. The waiter said that it would be extra. I figured 'how much can a cup of coffee be?'

$3.80 with tax and tip. And it was a lousy cup brought way too late. Old and cold.

Which is too bad because we planned to tip extra because we were on the DDP. In other words, the waiter paid for my coffee.

Oops. Forgot to say that we did enjoy the meal very much.

Thanks for reminding me. Even if you don't have a beverage during your meal, don't order a cappuccino as it magically comes from the "bar menu" and not the regular menu (where every other cappuccino we had on the DDP came from). We also had to pay extra for ours and never even had our DDP beverage as we had wine and tap water with dinner.

I was looking at that family style dinner on the menu here on the DIS, and I was really curious - does that thing really cost $59 per person????

I did not like it at all and I am not a picky or fussy eater. I eat anything and I was so disappointed.

The menu has changed from the one which was posted. My DH and I both had items not on the posted menu. I don't remember seeing the family style dinner on it when we ate there on 1/1/08.
