I am on the 8/20/05 eastbound cruise and am interested in using parksleepfly.com. Has anyone out there used them and if so what waas your experience with them.

and we have had great results using them. We used them once out of San Francisco when we went to Hawaii and once in Sacramento when we went down to San Diego. Each time we left our car for a week and it was much more cost effective than airport parking....not to mention convenient with early morning flights not having to drive that morning. I would recommend them.

We haven't used them but have gotten park / sleep / fly pkgs before. I checked their prices and they are comparable to what we paid so I would say go for it.

Another suggestion would be to call the hotels directly and see what the cheapest rate they'll give you and then google for off site parking discounts for your airport. May not be cheaper but can't hurt to investigate!

Good luck and have a great trip :)

Definately worth it. Keep in mind that your reservations are thru park/sleeep/fly, but that doesn't affect the hotel, management, service etc. Just pick a hotel that you wouldn't mind staying at anyway.

We found them no more expensive than there normal Fri. night rate would have been, plus it was great not having to worry about airport parking.

I also have never used that particular site. I used to fly to Orlando out of Dulles and the Marriott (on the airport grounds) and other nearby hotels had a special where you could stay one night and leave your car in their lot for up to two weeks. They would take you to the terminal with their shuttle and also pick you back up (and often the shuttle driver would drop us right at the car).

I don't know if any hotel near Dover does this, but I am sure that if you are going out of either PHL or BWI this can be done.

Check with hotels directly.

I have used them for my last three trips and are booked again for this June!! I have never had any problems and it is very easy to book with them! :teeth: :wave2:

We're thinking about using them as well.

Is your car covered? You aren't just parking in the regular hotel parking lot are you? Yikes! That's kinda scary.

We always use a Park & Fly hotel when we fly. I've booked them thru AAA travel or myself. I have one reserved in June at Days Inn for $89.99. Out of curiousity I went to price the same res at this website and found Holiday Inn, Howard Johnson, & Hilton for $72, that might be before tax of 11%. I tried to get an actual quote but couldn't without putting my cc# on it, I'd need to call because we have 5 people in the room to make sure that's not a problem since all decriptions say up to 4 people for that room and I couldn't complete the process without a cc first.

It looks like a good site with decent prices, be aware that they do charge your cc when you book a $10.95 fee refundable if you cancel within 48 hours or credited to the room when you stay AND a $4.95 non refundable booking fee that's added onto your room cost. Let us know how you like it if you decide to book thru them.

We are flying out of Newark, NJ. Are there any airport hotels that offer free parking without the added expenses incurred on this website?

To answer a few questions. You park in the regular hotel parking lot, when you check in make sure they know you have the park & fly and they will tell you where to park. At one hotel it was anywhere at the side of the building, another place was behind the building, one was in the back spaces, and one said we could park anywhere. It all depends on that hotel's policy. We've never had covered parking and never had a problem, even at Chicago where the neighborhood didn't look the greatest and one place that made us leave the keys with them because they were repaving during that week. Just follow common sense and lock the car and don't leave anything valuable in it, my brother had one of those cardboard sun things that cover the whole windshield so people couldn't be looking into the back of his minivan.

To find a park & fly without using this website you could search your ressie there and call the hotel directly and ask for a park & fly night. I called both Choice Hotel's and Day's Inn 800# and asked for a park & fly for the city I was looking for without a problem and got the AAA discount. In all fairness you should compare the price quoted on the site because they might be getting a discount you can't get yourself that would make your cost lower even with the $4.95 fee. I've also gotten park & fly hotels thru a travel agent and they never had a fee, but they probably get a commission direct from the hotel??
