Any opinions on Lunch at CRT??

Hi everyone,
I know that breakfast will be out of the question so I am preparing to reserve a lunch at CRT, can anyone tell me how it is and if they enjoyed it? What are the general characters that are present for lunch? Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated?

We have been for lunch twice(have never been to breakfast) and we enjoyed it both times. The menu is OK and we have gotten the Major Domo's Pie(I think that is right) both times. Princesses are there for lunch - Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Princess Aurora, and I think maybe Mary Poppins one time. Cinderella is in the lobby for pictures. We enjoyed lunch both times.

Have you tried for breakfast?

We did the CRT lunch in November. We loved it! The food was good, not great but good. Downstairs in Cindy who you get your picture taken with included in the price. Then you go upstairs to eat. We had Jasmine, Belle, Snow White and the Fairy Godmother come around while we were eatting. They give you a star to wish on. It's very cute. My girls wished for a dog. The entire trip the wished and wished for a dog. So when we came home we have in and adopted a dog. My girls say Disney is realy magical. We're going back in July and they are thinking what to wish for. I hope it's not a horse!

That's EXACTLY what my daughter will wish for when we go in June!!! I don't even have to guess, I know her and her horse obsession. We have 12:35 pm reservations for CRT lunch on our last full park day during our vacation. I've ordered a cake to be delivered to her also as we are celebrating her birthday that week (she turns 7 the day before we leave to go on the trip). She has NO idea of this lunch and I cannot wait to see her face when we go into the castle. She's gonna squeal, I'm sure.

When we were there 2 weeks ago we saw Belle, Aurora, Snow White, and the Fairy Godmother upstairs and Cindy downstairs.

DH got the salmon and I got the Major Domo pie, and both were good. (The salmon was a smallish portion for DH's taste. For some reason I was thinking it was all you can eat, and it wasn't.)

We did the lunch last fall and really enjoyed it. It was so nice and peaceful compared to al lthe other meals we had at Disney!

We have done the lunch 2X's - 2005 and 2006. The food is okay, but a little fancy for most of our tastes. The blueberry buckle dessert is amazing. Our character interaction was great in 05 but a little rushed in 06. We are probably doing the storybook lunch in sept instead because we have done the castle twice. Both times we have had aurora, snow white, belle, and mary poppins. Cinderella came to the table in 05, which I liked a lot better, but was downstairs in 06.

If you really want breakfast, you might get it. Last week, I got 21 for breakfast at 10:15 for 9/23. Once the whole group decides for sure that they want to do storybook, I will drop CRT.

My DH and I were there in Febraury and thought it was pretty good. The appetizer was ok, but the entrees and desserts were worth it. My advice is to request a table with a window view if possible and if you are celebrating a special occasion to tell them. We thought it was a lot of fun and the characters were great- especially the Fairy Godmother! They gave my DH a sword and me a wand.

I have done the lunch twice (third time in July) and the breakfast once. I think the menu for lunch is good, and the pasta is amazing! There are 5 princesses there. The last time I went (last July) the characters were:
Cinderella (in the lobby)
Snow White
Aurora
Belle (in the blue dress)
Fairy Godmother

Went last Sept and loved it ! Today I reserved it again for this September. Major Domo pie was great and we ended up so full we cancelled our dinner reservations at LTT and opted for CS salad.

We really enjoyed CRT lunch! I would recommend the first seating (noon) as you will likely get your pick of tables. We had a lovely window table. We had the salmon and the major domo's pie. We all liked our entrees and desserts. Our waiter was really efficient. We saw Aurora, Mary Poppins, Meg, Cinderella, and Belle.. perhaps one more? In any case, we had a really nice lunch.

WE loved lunch at CRT and will do it again this trip.

Cinderella was in the waiting area and you get your pic taken with her before going upstairs.

Mary Poppins, Aurora, Snow White and the Fairy Godmother were there when we went. It was excellent.

Also highly recommend the pie, it's wonderful

I was wondering if they gave out swords & wands at lunch. I always read it was at dinner. We have an ADR for lunch & I should have asked. 3 little boys & 3 little girls will be thrilled if they do!

We've done CRT breakfast 3 times and CRT lunch twice and we prefer lunch. I love Major Domo's Pie and the blueberry buckle dessert is wonderful. The characters that I remember seeing were Fairy Godmother, Aurora, Snow White, Belle and Mary Poppins. Of course Cinderella was in the lobby. We're going back in July - can't wait for that Major Domo's Pie!!!!

We really enjoyed CRT for lunch - a lot! We paid OOP at the time and we'd definitely do it again!

We are going in Sept for the first time and I am a little concerned about the food. I am a picky eater.

We had lunch at CRT back in September. The food was very good, especially the Major Domos Pie!!
I have 2 boys, they could care less about the princesses but they love to eat in the castle!!!

We did CRT for lunch back in October and really enjoyed it. I had to Major Domo Pie and DH had the pork tenderloin (yummy, but very onion-y. Here, honey, have a Certs! ). The princesses there were Cinderella in lobby, Jasmine, Snow White, Belle in blue dress, and Fairy Godmother. Aurora was in the Let's Have a Ball Show and not doing appearances at CRT then. DD5 had a blast and since it was DH's b-day, they brought out an extra ice cream sundae with a chocolate castle on top! I loved the Blueberry Buckle!!
