Meeting up with some friends. Families included several teens. We will be there a week in June. Camelot Inn has a EXTENDED rate of $139/night. Is this a good rate for this small motel? We are just looking for clean and basic. Any opinions?

Our family has stayed here 3 times and will stay again this February. We have found the staff very kind. The rooms are spacious and clean. It's super close to the park. It is an older motel so not fancy. We love it. They have a discount $20 off per night I think if you are staying 5 or more nights.

It's clean and close and that's a decent rate. My concern in June would be the possibility of demolition of the Carusol Inn (next door) and construction of the new gateway happening by then. If you're not going to be in the room during the day it probably won't matter, but if you're talking an afternoon break it might be bothersome.

We stayed there in November. It was clean and the staff was friendly. No frills but it's very close to the park.

We were there in July. It was clean and an easy walk, was quiet when we were there too. Not fancy, but just fine. I would stay there again if it was available. We usually do Worldmark, but are staying at the Tropicana, Camelot's sister property, in February, due to availability. Can't really beat the location too!

We stayed there in 05. 2 room suite,,only downfall was only 1 bathroom.

Flying home right now. Just stayed there for the past three nights -- January 10-13 and was happy with the place. It's great to be able to walk right over to the Disneyland theme parks. It's right next to McDonald's and Panara Bread -- great for breakfast. They have a cute little pool and hot tub that is warm. We found it clean and comfortable and spacious. We had a double queen room. Beds were fine for sleeping too.

We stayed there last Sep. in the 2 bedroom suite. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had great access to the parks. Our only complaint would be the tiny pool- only 3ft deep all around. However, we loved the view from the pool deck! We turned the lounge chairs around and just watched the monorail pass by, the Astro Orbitor spin and the waterfall on the Matterhorn. It was awesome.

Any idea what kind of coffee makers they have? From pics it looks like 4 cup Cusinart. Is this still what's there? Are they the type with the basket type filters? DH prefers to bring his own coffee.
