Any onsited offer discount rooms to AP holders?

Looking at the cost of a 3 day ticket vs annual pass. Do any of the onsite hotels offer a discount to AP holders?

Right now we are not planning another trip this year but it would be an option if tickets were already covered.

Any downfall to the $199 annual passes?

You do not get the same discounts with the $199 power pass that you do with the preferred and premier passes. And the power pass has block out dates. The preferred comes with free parking after first visit, discounts on food, merchandise, hotels. If you plan to come more than one visit per year, or visit for more than 4 days a year, and are not coming during block out dates, the power pass could work for you. It's only about $20 more than. 4 day pass, but gives u a year of visits (minus block out dates). I bought a preferred for myself and a power pass for my son, so that we could have the discounts.

There are no hotel discounts with the Power Pass...only Preferred and Premier.

The Power Pass is basically for theme park admission and not much more.

Oh good to know about the different types of AP. I just checked the room rates with APH discount and the rate is the same price without the discount. Werid. We are going in Jan. Do they release those closer to the date?

Might have to wait a few. You can book under regular rate and if AP comes out just call and change. Also remember you do not need your AP for booking or checking in. You will have to show it at some point during your stay. So you really don't have to layout the AP money if there is no discount. Also you can buy one preferred AP just to get the discounts. It's also good for 10% off just about everywhere throughout the whole resort, parks, Citywalk, and hotels.

i booked some dates in january and only the SMSM promo is out for that month right now.
ap rates won't be released until later this year.
could be late sept/early october.

you can book now and modify the rate later.
