any one having problems with DU?

i booked my vacation thru dreams unlimited on 7/19. they took my deposit on 7/20- i haven't heard from anyone since. i got an initial email telling me my agent would be contacting me soon, but i haven't heard anything. is this standard procedure for them? so far i'm not impressed!
 
Have you filled out their questionaire about the things you want to do, who is in your traveling party etc.? I found that DU was pretty quick about assigning me an agent and then if and when I needed something done, she was right on top of it. If you haven't been assigned an agent yet, I would send an email off to them.
 
they sent me an email on 7/20 telling me who my agent is and i filled out the questionnaire that day. i haven't heard anything since.
 
Well, I haven't really had "problems" but I am not that satisfied with them and will probably go it alone next trip. My TA is very slow about getting back to me, I had a deposit transferred from an old reservation to a new one and it has yet to show up on the payments made section of their website, also my final payment is not due until Aug. 15 and I have recieved to payment due notices, one from a ressie I have already cancelled. Now, I did get CRT from them, but I have never had trouble getting that in the past, so- It just hasn't been worth the stress of leaving the planning to someone else.

How far away is your trip? If it's more than 120 days away, I wouldn't be too concerned.

Most reservations and PS arrangements can be made either 120 or 60 days out. That's when you can really start planning your itinerary, and when you'd be working most with your DU agent.

Have you tried to email your agent?
 
I have used DU 3 times and I love my consultant!!! :) I would PM CathyCanada and she will help you out...
 
I'm using DU for a Dec 2004 trip. I was quickly assigned an agent and he's been very responsive. He even sent an e-mail for me not to worry if I don't hear much from him since my vacation is so far away but that I'm welcome to send questions anytime.

I have used Dreams many times, and I have been VERY pleased every time. I would send a PM to CathyCanada, I'm sure she would want to know your experience so it can be improved. :)
