I saw you can get those cupcakes in the animal kingdom and was wondering if they were cute and fun looking, meaning they actual looked like the animals they are named after. I was thinking of using them as a scavenger hunt item if they were fun looking, no boring of cupcakes will due for me. If anyone has a pic of them that would be even better Thanks for all the help :surfweb:

The allearsnet.com menu for Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery kiosk in the Animal Kingdom park includes the following:

Zebra Cupcake $3.99

Elephant Cupcake $3.99

I have never seen them myself, so I don't know if they are currently available.

No they don't look like animals, BUT they are very delicious and decorated very well. I had the zebra cupcake which was a yellow cupcake and decorated with white frosting, alot of it! and had striped white and milk chocolate candy (stick shaped) on top.
havent seen any decorated like animals anywhere there and we have hit all the bake shops trust me
The Magic Kingdom in our opinion had the best cupcakes, yellow cake with either pink or blue frosting..but they are usually gone by 5 or 6 pm.
Hope I helped some...

Thanks for the responces... to bad they aren't animal shaped :sad2: they sound scrumptious.. I want a cupcake right now :wizard:

I forgot to say that they had them recently, I was there 4 weeks ago and stumbled across the stand near the Kilamanjaro Safari. I was looking for a mocha and saw it on the menu ( I should have known better, any coffee drink from Disney is Nescafe based, GAG, lol) BUT I decided to order a cupcake sight unseen and wow what a nice surprise.

Where in the MK exactly are the cupcakes? :confused3

The best cupcakes IMO are the ones at the main street bakery . Those were just so fresh tasting and had the blue or pink frosting. They will last a few days in the container they put them in to take with you.
The zebra ones at the AK were refrigerated so they didn't have that super fresh melt in your mouth taste......ok now Im wanting one,lol

I was really bad on my Jan/Feb trip and took hardly any pics...BUT I have a new Fuji thin tiny camera and it will be perfect to carry anywhere so I will be back at the end of April and I will take some pics then and post them when I get back.

Those cupcakes aren't at the Main Street Bakery (Magic Kingdom) any more. They're at the Main Street Confectionery, which is on the same side of the street but closer to the park entrance.

Huh, they were there 3 weeks ago when I left the MK, I will have to look when I go back in 5 weeks.....
They had different ones at the Confectionary, when I was there and those weren't as fresh.
Maybe they have moved them in the last 3 weeks.....
