Any one for Augusts Hours

thanks!! i can plug them into DD's schedule now..
i had the schedule set up, but without the hours, no way to figure out exactly where she'll be on each day...
so now i can sit with her on her ADRs..

i wonder when i can start reserving them for her....
she arrives on august 5th....when's 180 days....hmmm....

yey can start my planning book now :)

My first time organising a disney holiday :)

wish me luck :rotfl:

lol got a bit carried away I forgot its only the start of my holiday in august most of it is in september.

Oh well I can start planning the first 5 days :lmao:

thanks! i don't even have room reservations for her yet, so i'll have to do one day at a time.....

i know where she definitely wants to eat, but maybe she'll go for a few new ones...
her definites:
- yak & yeti (no doubt more than once - she loves it there)..
- sci fi (she loves the vegetarian pasta dish)
- 50's prime time
- coral reef
- rose & crown

possibles:
- 1900 park fare, but only if chef TJ is still there (he's the vegan master at WDW)..
- chef's table at V&A - i'm trying to talk her into it - but the jacket for DSIL will be a problem - i don't understand why when you eat in the kitchen, you need to be in a jacket....the chef isn't in a jacket..
- citricos (one of DD's favorites)
- teppan ido
- tokyo dining

they're there for 15 days, but they'll have the dining plan for 14 days..

Yay! :worship:

That's made me quite excited - feels like its getting closer!! (Most days it feels like that "one day" that will never come!)

Listened to Len Testa on a podcast and he described his party at chefs table. At approx $350 per person (which included wine) this is a bit rich for my pocket but it sounds a wonderful experience. In a past life I would have enjoyed this type of experience when I was on an expense account ;)
Importantly he said hat the jacket only had to be worn when you were walking through V&A for toilet breaks. But the chef made everyone at ease immediate and invited the men to take off their jackets while in the kitchen :)

it's 'only' $200/person without the wine...
DD and DSIL don't drink at all, so they wouldn't take the wine add on...

the $200/person is a bargain considering they would be in there all by themselves with the chef...

both DD and DSIL love to cook, and DSIL is quite a skilled pastry chef as well...they're currently in a cooking course together, and he was invited to be the assistant pastry chef in the cooking school...

so i think it would be a really interesting evening for them...
but he doesn't even own a jacket....
and they won't have room to pack one as they're going to alaska first...
i wonder if they could rent one somewhere for the evening...maybe go the WDW lost and found and borrow it ;)

Just looked at Youtube clip of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_DYCH6EKKE
Not my sort of food but if anyone wants to pay for me to try it I will give it a go .:rotfl2:
I thought V&A lent you a jacket of you didn't have one.:confused3

thanks Wayne!
you know the food doesn't look appetizing to me, but i know that when i ate at V&A (regular, not the chef's table), i thought the food was the best i'd ever had anywhere.....amazing amazing food...tiny little servings, but so many different dishes, i was stuffed by the end...

if DD decides to do it, i'll check when i call for the reservation, if there's any way they can help out with the jacket.....there are people in the world who just don't have jackets...they don't have any need for them.....(there are many men here who don't have jackets - it's just not a jacket sort of place)

I have a jacket (for funerals and wedding) but there is no way I would cart it over to the US to eat a meal.
